Disney Makes Changes To Park Pass Reservation System

Beginning today, August 23, Disney World Guests can now book Park Pass Reservations for all ticket types at the same time. This change means that if you are an Annual Passholder and are traveling with someone who has a Single-Day Ticket, you can now make Park Passes together at the same time.

Guests who wish to make changes to their Park Pass Reservations can now edit the date and Park without having to cancel it first. Also, Disney is increasing the number of tickets that can have Park Passes reserved. Guests used to be able to only have 12 reservations, but increase that number to 30, which should better accommodate larger traveling parties.

Before you visit a park, you must have valid admission and then make a park reservation via the Disney Park Pass system. A park reservation must be made for each day of entry. If you have a multi-day ticket, you will be required to make a park reservation for each date of your visit.

    How To Make A Reservation

Once you know the date and park you’d like to go to, go to the My Disney Experience tab on the Disney World website. When you go to the park reservation system you will see a calendar of dates, some that are available, others that are not. If you have an annual pass, the blacked out dates will be unavailable. If the park reaches near capacity in the category you are in, it will most likely be unavailable.

    Steps to make a reservation:

    • Create your Park Reservation party by clicking on the friends and family who will be joining you at the park. (Everyone must have a park ticket.) Then click “Continue.”
    • Select a date and a theme park.
    • To complete your Park Reservation, click to agree to the Terms and Conditions, then click “Continue.”
    • You must repeat this process for every day that you want to obtain a Park Reservation.
