Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land at Disney California reopened on Friday, June 3 after a 10-day closure triggered by a smoking vehicle.
The attraction was closed on May 24 after smoke was seen coming out of the back of one of the ride vehicles after it crossed the finish line. The ride was then was closed indefinitely out of an abundance, missing the busy Memorial Day weekend.
Accidents and mechanical problems involving Disneyland attractions also need to be investigated by the state Amusement Ride and Tramway Unit of California OSHA.
Radiator Springs Racers takes you on a thrilling journey through Radiator Springs and through the Cadillac Mountain Range. At almost six acres, the attraction is the largest by acreage at the Disneyland Resort.
