‘Hocus Pocus 2’ cereal coming to US grocery stores

To celebrate the release of Hocus Pocus 2, Kellogg is teaming up with Disney to release a Hocus Pocus 2-themed cereal to grocery stores nationwide for a “limited time” starting in August.

“Disney’s Hocus Pocus has been a part of family Halloween traditions for years,” said Sadie Garcia, Director of Brand Marketing at Kellogg All Family Cereal, in a press release. “Now, with Kellogg’s Disney Hocus Pocus 2 cereal, families can celebrate the spooky season alongside the Sanderson Sisters as they return on Disney+ this fall.”

Hocus Pocus 2 is set to premiere on Disney+ on Friday, Sept. 30. In the sequel, Midler, Parker, and Najimy reprise their iconic roles as the evil Sanderson sisters, who return to present-day Salem and take on the teenagers who dared to evoke them.

An official Disney+ press release from last fall reads:

“It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters who were executed for practicing witchcraft, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to figure out how to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before midnight on All Hallow’s Eve.”

The cereal will be available for a limited time starting in August. The 7.7-ounce box will retail for about $4.29, and a 12-ounce box will go for $5.29.
