The upcoming Disney+ series will mark the live-action debut of Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin who gains similar powers to the Hulk. We don’t have confirmation on this yet, but in the comics, Walters receives an emergency blood transfusion from Banner, which gives her Hulk powers. Unlike Bruce, however, when she hulks out Jennifer is able to retain most of her personality, intelligence, and emotional control.
In addition to Maslany as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk, the show’s cast also includes Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky aka Abomination, Ginger Gonzaga as Jennifer’s BFF, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia and Jameela Jamil as Titania.
She-Hulk’s first episode will hit Disney+ on August 17, 2022.
